A beloved Daddy, who was completely family orientated. A proud ex RAF serviceman who was obsessed with aircraft. He loved to fly, loved to tinker with planes , but also built and flew model aircraft his whole life- from boyhood to retirement. Daddy also loved motorbikes and took part in scrambling in the 1960s. He was a skilled engineer who worked on prestigious projects such as LeMans and The Thrust 2 landspeed record.

A Personal Message
I have been totally devastated by the loss of my father, my darling Daddy. I am so proud that he was my Daddy, and see so much of myself in him. He inspired me to start horseriding, he encouraged a love of Arthur Ransome books and I miss him terribly everyday. For 8 years it was just Daddy and I after the loss of my mother in 2012, and we were so close. I will never get over his loss, just like my mummy, but I’m determined to live a full life in his memory and make him proud. My grief for him will find a space to live and he’s tucked away in my heart like a precious jewel. I will never let him go …..
