Matthew was a treasured son to David and Gill, a loved brother to Christopher, a proud father to Hollie, Charlie and Harry, a much-loved uncle to Rosie and Gemma and an adored fiancé to Shani. Born and raised in North London, he had many memories and stories of times shared with his family growing up, a closeness to his grandparents that we are not all so lucky to have and many fun memories with his cousins. As an adult Matt moved to Surrey, living in Epsom for a number of years.

Matthew's Accomplishments
I know I speak on behalf of everyone when I say not seeing Matt every day is the saddest reality and we will always be lost without him. Loving Matt was the easiest thing in the world, saying goodbye has been the hardest.
Matt will be loved and remembered always and forever.
A Personal Message
Fiercely loyal and protective to those he let into his inner circle, he had a great group of close friends. Matt was a very social person who would chat with everyone. He had a wicked sense of humour and loved to prank people at any opportunity! He always had the ability to put a smile on your face no matter what mood you were in. A dedicated West Ham fan through and through would result in a lot of banter with his friends!
Matt is gone far too soon and truly missed by everyone. As his fiancé we walked into 2020 full of excitement and happiness and I am devastated to find him gone. I can honestly say that he was truly the love of my life and will be missed forever. Our friendship grew and turned into the best kind of love possible over the 19 years that I was lucky enough to know him. There are no words to describe how heartbroken I am. He meant the absolute world to me, he showed me how to be loved and to believe in myself. He was the most supportive fiancé I could ask for and encouraged my ambition.
