Lewis Leaderman
About Lewis
Lewis (Lew) was a real gentleman who would always go out of his way to help others. He served in the RAF during the war, where he worked on Spitfires. He loved big band jazz, especially Glenn Miller, who he saw live in London during the war. He worked all his life in the clothing industry as a pattern cutter and cutting room manager.
He was devoted to his wife Stella, who passed away in 2014. He loved spending time with his son Gary and grandchildren Joelle and Lexie.
After a nasty fall, he spent the last 2 years of his life in a care home, where he still managed to follow the other love of his life, Arsenal. He contracted Covid in the care home and after a week in hospital, he died on 2nd April 2020, aged 95.

Lewis's Accomplishments
I am dedicating this memory to my Dad Lewis to remember all his great qualities, the wonderful memories I have and how much he still means to me in my life.
A Personal Message
Lewis was my Dad and I think of him all the time. He was also my hero and role model, who I could only aspire to be like. He meant so much to me during his life and just as much now that he’s gone.
He is sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
