About Ken
My lovely Dad, Husband to Dot for over 65 years, Grandfather to 6 and greatgrand father to 14. Always the joker and joke master telling the grandkids some awful jokes but always made them laugh. Worked from the age of 13 initially at Brentford Market and then Western International Market. Lived in Port Issac, Cornwall during the war years with his mum and older brother Terry. Terry was killed at the age of 19 in a motorbike accident and Ken aged 13 so a passenger and luckily survived this tragic accident. Ken has a stroke in his early 60 and retired from his Market Porter job. Ken and Dot moved to Lancing, West Sussex where they lived happily for over 19 years until family asked them to move to Egham back near family so they could be loved and looked after by family in their later years.
