She was mother to Derek, Gillian and Ian, married to the late Gerry and then to Chris. Worked as a PA at Timpson shoes until her retirement and then enjoyed narrow boating and an active social life until Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia created barriers to her familiar lifestyle.

Doris's Accomplishments
I am thankful to have spent a few hours with her before her admission, when even so ill she was able to enjoy hearing news from our family and to send her love. We will always remember her with love.
A Personal Message
She will be greatly missed by husband Chris, daughter Gillian, grandchildren Diane, Sean, Tina and Andrew and great-grandchildren Bridget and Charlie, who enjoyed many happy moments with her, until the pandemic prevented visits to her care home. She was a lovely, funny, loving lady with a vivacious personality who could brighten a room with her wicked sense of humour.
