And yet again I find myself crying.
Every day I shed a tear.
I tell myself they are lying.
You haven’t gone, you’re still here.
You left me behind, in this place,
I don’t know how to deal.
I no longer see your face,
Tell me it’s not real.
You’ve gone away, though not by choice,
to a place high up above
I want you back, to hear your voice,
to shower you with love.
I hope you know how much I miss
your laugh, your jokes, your grin.
I didn’t always tell you this
but now it’s sinking in,
That you aren’t there any more,
and I can’t call your phone
or just turn up at your front door,
because you won’t be home.
I miss you more than words can say, in my heart there is a hole.
You were more than just a brother, you are always a part of my soul.
A Personal Message
He took after our dad and worked in the retail trade. He was a gifted artist and had an eye for fashion and style. He was renowned for being a dapper dresser, whether at work or at play.
His two great passions, outside his family, were music/dance and football.
He danced in the Notting Hill carnival more than once, as part of the London School of Samba. When not dancing or singing along to rock and roll music or anything Latino, he could be found watching his beloved Tottenham Hotspur.
From the moment I was born, my big brother protected me. Every part of my life I’ve been loved by him. For the rest of my days, he will be in my heart. Words simply can not describe this feeling. Knowing we will never see his infectious smile, hear his wonderful laugh, watch him pull his silly faces or see him dance again.
