About Shirley
Mum was 83 when she passed away. She loved company and gossip, and was a very witty raconteur, although it’s fair to say she never let the truth get in the way of a good yarn! She was born in Hackney in London, and was raised by her father from a very young age. She was very beautiful. She married Dad when she was 19 and he was 18, and they remained completely devoted to each other until the very end. She had four children, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. RIP mum. xxx
