Patrick's Accomplishments
Patrick and I were soul mates. We met at school, lost touch after leaving school only to rekindle our relationship in our thirties. He was, without doubt, the most incredible man I have ever met and also the bravest, having fought his illness with courage and dignity.
Forever missed by wife Louise, son Matthew and closest friends Jan, John, Ian & Ethan
A Personal Message
Patrick was very family orientated and was a loving husband to wife Louise and son Matthew.
After his family, Patrick’s other great passion in life was music. He enjoyed an eclectic mix of a variety of different genres of music and was an avid supporter of live music in his local area. He was also a regular contributor to local social media pages as well as having somewhat of a ‘cult’ following on his own social media page. He was probably best know for his daily posts of ‘It’s all I fancy’ along with an accompanying picture of whatever he happened to be eating at the time.
Sadly in recent years due to declining health Patrick had been unable to work, however, that never affected his incredible zest for life.
Patrick’s life was sadly cut way too short. Having battled and won his fight with Oesophageal cancer it was the cruelest blow that he should contract Covid-19 and be taken from us.
He had so much life left to live and was looking forward to fulfilling the things on his bucket list that he had planned to do once fully recovered.
