Born in Carlisle where her mum was from but lived all her life in the East End of London, Bethnal Green where her dad was from.
Mum loved watching the Arsenal play on the TV and her favourite was Dennis Bergkamp. She worked until she was 72 as a cleaner and midday supervisor at Raines Foundation School. She loved shopping, a Chinese takeaway, going to the theatre and treating the family when she was out with you. She would say "you can pay me back when I get old".
Maureen left 4 children, Ann, Kim, Lynn and Leonard and their partners, as well as 9 grandchildren, Emma, Lucy, Christopher, Ben, Sam, Jay, Anthony, Sophie and Lillie and partners, and 4 great-grandchildren, Tate, William, Ava and Mia when she passed and the newest addition to the family was another great-granddaughter born on 21/12/20 Isla Mae. Plus 2 brothers and her best friend Jean.
