About Margaret
Born just after the beginning of the Second World War, she joked that she spent her early years in the Anderson Shelter at the bottom of the garden. She never knew her father, he was killed during the war but she grew up surrounded by her mum, grandparents and aunts and uncles.
Mum loved the outdoors, walking and her favourite place was The Scottish Highlands, there with her husband Ean, grandson Alex and her beloved dogs she was at her happiest.

Margaret's Accomplishments
My mum loved being outdoors, she loved trees and two of her dogs were named after trees, Ash and Rowan. She would be delighted to know that she had her own special tree in her memory.
A Personal Message
I miss my mum every day, not a day goes by where I don’t wish I could tell her something, feel her hands clasp mine and tell her how much I love her. She was simply ‘the best’.
