About Francisco 'Franco'
My father had resided in the UK since 1971 having left his native country of Madeira to make a better life for himself. He was a strong and hardworking man, who spent his working years mainly in the hospitality sector. He was never one to sit still and in retirement, you would often see him helping out on a local fruit stall in Bromley, Kent talking to the locals. He was well-liked by many. Even the kids, who grew up knowing him, cannot believe he has gone. Many say Bromley Town Centre is not the same without him. Family was very important to him. He was very proud of his family and doted on his grandchildren.

A Personal Message
His sudden death came as a shock to everyone who knew him. My mother and I, my husband and children miss him everyday. We miss his smile. We miss his laugh. We miss his words of wisdom and stories of the past. We miss his anecdotes. We miss his presence. We miss his hugs and kisses. Gone but never forgotten.
