Born and raised in Stockport Cheshire, dad was one of the very early members of the band known as the hollies but left before they shot to fame.
A staunch family man and beloved husband to mum PAT who sadly passed away from cancer just 5months before dad who lost his fight with Coronovirus in the pandemic of 2020.

A coach driver for many years, loved by his colleagues and his passengers and with a generous and community minded heart.
Through his passing, the Support group Covid19familiesuk was created by his daughter Debbie Lewis. The group is currently supporting over 4000 covid bereaved leaving an enternal legacy in his name
A Personal Message
Dad,
After48 years of being married to mum, a light went out in you the day she passed from cancer on 28thOctober 2019.
That joyful, mischievous glint in your eyes died alongside mum.
Living without mum was so difficult for you but you tried to bravely carry on.
You were taken before your time dad when the pandemic hit, you fought so bravely to stay with us, but just 5months after losing mum, you went to once more be beside her.
The whole family were devastated once more but your passing has left a huge legacy helping and comforting many, with Covid19familiesuk.
I have your silver dad ring which rests on my finger next to mums wedding ring ensuring you are both always together and always close to me,
LOVED AND MISSED EVERY DAY
