Widower to Jan, father of 5, grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 6. An intelligent, kind and generous man who was devoted to his family.
He was a passionate supporter of cricket, especially the Essex team as well as an avid football fan and lifelong supporter of West Ham.
He always had a strong interest in politics and a belief in equality for all.
He was a pioneer in his professional field as a computer analyst and although retired, he continued to lend guidance and support to businesses.
