Phil was a master craftsman. He took over a multi-generational family interior & furnishings company and absolutely excelled in his field. Other than that he was just a font of all knowledge. The great loves of his life were his beautiful wife Karen, his cats Tommy & Ru & his old Doberman Harry. He loved to travel, particularly in Italy. He loved fine food & fine wine, arts, antiques, technology & cars. He loved all animals & had a colony of stray cats in his garden who he bought 7 chickens forever week. He loved wildlife, nature & his garden, boats & sailing.

Phil was an absolutely fantastic brother. He was bang in the middle of 6 sisters & probably learnt to treat women very well as a result. He was so protective of us. He was the funniest person I ever met. He was the cleverest, most practical of men & optimistic, supportive & just downright fabulous. To me, he was a bit of an idol & he was so incredibly practical & versatile in his gifts that he was definitely my favourite man I ever met. We were very close & the future without him is going to be really hard. He is deeply missed by Karen, his wife of 28 years as they totally doted on each other right from their first day’s together. He is survived by 5 sisters, our half brother & extended family. We will all miss him terribly as he was one in a million.
