About Joan
My mother was an animal lover, she rescued many injured and baby birds in her lifetime. She also rescued a butterfly who could not lay her eggs and my mother helped her lay the eggs one by one, it took hours. She had the patience of a saint. She always liked to help other people, never thinking of herself. She was a keen gardener and loved to play the piano.
