About Ellen
Mum was a kind and gentle soul who worked hard all her days. She loved spending time with her family and always enjoyed family times where we would celebrate birthdays, Christmas. She lost my dad in 2009 to Alzheimer’s, but with our support, she started to go to lunch clubs and other activities and through this, she made new friends. Sadly she was diagnosed with vascular dementia in May and just a year later we made the difficult decision to look for a care home for mum.
