My mum was the centre of the family and the absolute centre of our universe. Her heart and compassion was felt by anyone who had the privilege to meet her. She was a completely selfless, kind-hearted person who will be massively missed throughout the whole family and all her many many friends. She was a fit and energetic person who loved to travel and walk through the fens of Suffolk and Dorset, it came as an absolute surprise when she was taken ill and then taken from us.
Born in Scotland Celeste and migrated down to Newmarket when she was a child. There she met her husband and close friends that she remained in contact with right up until she died. She enjoyed life and marrying into a military family meant that she was able to travel the world and sample different countries and cultures, but wherever she laid her roots she would always stay in contact with those forever friends from old.
The idea of dedicating a tree in memory of Celeste is a wonderful idea and I love that in remembering her we can help the planet, and who knows in years and decades to come her name will not be forgotten to the sands of time.
