A Personal Message
He was the beloved son of the late Herta and Charlie James and a much-loved brother of Tony and Ronnie and we miss him so very much and also by his many friends on Skye where he now rests.
Bernd was devoted to his family and after our parents passed away he always looked out for his little brothers.
Bernd loved the sea and also loved swimming.
When he first moved to Skye, he and his friends started diving for scallops until a diving accident forced him to stop and after this, he started working on a salmon farm.
Bernd loved Skye so much we decided he should rest there overlooking the sea he loved so much
