Born in Glasgow, retired to Ayr

Dad was a wonderful character, with a great love for his family. He had a sharp wit, an inquisitive mind and could fix just about anything. He had a love of the outdoors, with hill climbing, motorcycling, wild camping, hunting and fishing being a massive part of his youth. Latterly, he loved to potter in his greenhouse, lovingly tending to his pride and joy, his tomato plants

Dad was just simply a good man. He was funny, fiercely loyal, kind, generous and would do anything he could to help out someone in trouble. Right up until the day he passed, he tried to keep the family’s spirits up by telling awful dad jokes, even though he was extremely weak. He truly protected us to the end. We miss him terribly.

Dedicate a tree in the Forest of Memories for a loved one lost because of Covid-19.
