Helensburgh, Argyll & Bute

Irene was originally from Blantyre (Home of David Livingstone), after living in Peru where her son Claude and family still live, she brought her family of girls up in Helensburgh and following her mother and aunt, she became a well known local landlady with many friends; a woman who would help anyone. Before she developed a horrendous form of Alzheimer’s, and later succumbed to Covid 19, the highlight of her life and ours was the shared holidays in the sun. Her lovely singing voice and sense of fun and friendship will be with us forever.

Joan and Liz miss Irene her friendship, the love, laughter, and the times spent together over 50 years.

Claude, Margo, Lesley, Carol, & Alison and their families (Grandchildren & great grandchildren) are all left with a huge void.

Dedicate a tree in the Forest of Memories for a loved one lost because of Covid-19.
