Born in London, Bill worked as a Civilian with the Metropolitan Police for 38 years, when he took early retirement in 2013.
Bill loved Arsenal Football Club and was a regular attendee at their matches when he lived in London.
Bill loved, running, – he ran the London Marathon in 2016, and was a qualified Run Leader, leading several 0 – 5K courses, he loved to see people develop an enjoyment for running.
Bill was unfortunately diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2016 and after weeks of treatment followed by more treatment and a Stem Cell Transplant, he was able to take part in the Myeloma UK London to Paris ride, where he raised over £3,000.
He tested positive for Covid-19 on 7 April 2020 and lost his fight on 15 April 2020.
Bill was a loving, Son to Bill Snr and Joy, a loving brother to Sally and a wonderful partner to me.
I loved you with all my heart and will never forget you.
