Pradip was originally from Kenya, where he grew up with a large family of 6 sisters and 1 brother. He moved to the UK in 1972 to study Accountancy. He had a love of travel, and went all over the world to countries such as Argentina, Vietnam, Thailand and South Africa, meeting his future wife Beryl on a 10-week camping trip in America. They married in 1988 and went on to have Luke in 1993 and Mark in 1995. They had the most wonderful family life and were all able to share Pradip’s love of travelling over the years as a family, particularly spending a lot of time in South Africa where Beryl is from. Pradip was known in the family for his teasing, and for his calm and placid nature. To his siblings, nieces, nephews, he was known as Toton, his friends called him Dass, and Beryl called him Boze. Something he had said to Beryl not long ago was “If I went tomorrow, I have done everything I wanted, I have seen the boys grow up, I have travelled. I am happy”
A message from his family – Pradip was the most gentle, calm, and loving Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle & Friend. He is so dearly loved and greatly missed, but we will always cherish the wonderful memories we have with him and will carry him in our hearts forever, until we meet again
