Born in Newcastle and moved to Birmingham as a teenager, where she lived the rest of her life
My Nan was a nurse at Birmingham children’s hospital for 30 years. She was a wonderfully funny and happy woman, children loved her, she was like a child herself, she was amusing to be around but most of all she was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She is missed by all her family, she had 9 children. Patricia sadly lost her son David in February 2010 and she dearlymissed him. She had many grandchildren and she was very loving to everyone, she had a larger than life character and all who met her and knew her felt warmed from her beautiful smile.
Patricia was a fantastic nurse who loved her job and gave a great deal of comfort to the children she nursed in her 30-year career. She was also the most fabulous mother and grandmother anyone could wish for.
