Mum was a primary school teacher and even in retirement, she loved to teach and learn. She was amazing at calligraphy, gardening and knew the name of every bird and plant. Being a Granny meant the world to her, as did being an Auntie to her niece and nephews. Family meant everything.
Mum was the kindest and gentlest of souls. She would have done anything for anyone. Mum had the best sense of fun and was always looking for a new adventure. She was the strongest person I have ever met. She faced every challenge in life head-on with grace and bravery. I am incredibly proud of her and I miss her every day.
