He was married to Joan for 59 years. He had 3 daughter’s who were all married and 10 grandchildren including partners. He was to become a great grandad for the first time but didn’t get to meet her. For most of his working life, he was in the printing trade. He loved playing snooker and Scrabble and had a lot of friends.
He was a very intelligent and interesting man and had many stories to tell. He wrote 13 books all about his early life including being evacuated, his national service, the cars he had owned and many more. As a family, we all miss him so much. He played a very large part in all of our lives, and he will be remembered always.
