An architect by profession, he was also an artist, potter, sculptor and classicist. In recent years he was learning to play the piano which he took passionately to, as he did to everything. He believed passionately in the reunification of Cyprus and the human rights of Cypriots. In recent years, his greatest passion outside his family and Cyprus has been his role in the creation and success of Britain’s first maintained Greek Orthodox secondary school, St Andrew the Apostle Greek Orthodox School in Barnet.
His wife of 34 years Marina, his three daughters, Aliki, Stella and Anna-Maria along with the extended family miss him terribly.
He was a role model, spectacular human being and key-member of our household and community. He had the biggest heart and the kindest soul.
Our lives will never be the same without him.
My dad cared about the environment, so I’d like to dedicate a tree to him as I know my dad would have liked it.
