Derby (but he was from Rainham in Essex)

Matt was a hard worker who always gave 110% of himself in anything he did. He loved his work and during his short life achieved so much. He started as an apprentice at Ford Motor Company, then moved around the country, ending his time there as a manager, moving onto Aston Martin where he was a director. Matt then moved in a few years later to JCB and during the last 6 months of his life he was Chief Operating Officer at Princess Yachts in Plymouth where he has left a lasting legacy. People he worked with have reached out to say that he really cared about them, always asked after them and their families.

Matt was a huge light in our family which will never dim. He has left a huge hole in our lives which can never be filled. He leaves behind his loving wife Amanda who he absolutely adored. His parents Jill & Peter are heartbroken at losing their beautiful son and both my other brother Andy and myself have lost our wonderful, darling brother who we are utterly lost without. Matt was also a devoted uncle to Grace, Jessica, Emma and Sara.

Dedicate a tree in the Forest of Memories for a loved one lost because of Covid-19.
