My mother worked during World War II for the GPO sending and receiving morse code messages, she was an Assistant Commandant for the Red Cross. She latterly worked my father as an Administrator in the Artificial Limb & Appliance Centre at the City Hospital in Nottingham.

My parents adopted me at an early age and gave me a wonderful upbringing, teaching me right from wrong. Mum loved animals and donated to many charities during her lifetime.

It is less than a week since you left me but I miss you more than anything. I know I was lucky to have had you for as long as I did but you should never have left in the way you did. It was horrible not being able to see you until it was almost too late but I was grateful to be with you for your last 72 hours.

Mathew, Lola, Lindsay, Rachael & Dave all miss you along with your ‘fans’ on Facebook xxxx Love you forever
