22/01/1939 – 10/04/2020

Sydenham, London

Colin was father to three children – 1 boy and two girls. He was also grandfather to four grandchildren – 2 boys and 2 girls. He married very young and unfortunately this marriage ended in divorce. He married Liz in 2002 and was happily married to her until his death. He was a very funny man with lots of stories to tell. He was a Sales Director for a paper company where he had worked most of his life. In 2018 he suffered a massive stroke which led to Vascular Dementia amongst other things. In March 2020 he caught Covid 19 which was to take his life.

Colin was my husband and soul mate and I loved him with all my heart – I still do. I miss him all the time and I visit his memorial in Kemnal Park at least once a week. Here I speak to him and play his favourite music. No one will ever replace him in my heart. The pain of losing him is unbearable and doesn’t get any better.

Dedicate a tree in the Forest of Memories for a loved one lost because of Covid-19.
