Barry was born in Plymouth in 1951. But later lived in Newport, South Wales, where he lived for most of his life.
My dad was a lovely person who was well-liked by friends and neighbours. He loved gardening and was always smiling and laughing, even after battling with Parkinson’s Disease, for over 18 years. He worked as a postman for many years and also for a pharmaceutical company as a delivery driver.
Me and my brother miss our dad terribly. My nephew who called my dad Bappa often asks where he is. My mum is heartbroken. But we will never forget Barry ( dad) he was part of our whole world and now there’s part of our world missing. It won’t ever be the same.
We are dedicating a Memory tree to dad. He loved gardening and could bring a plant back to life even if it was dying. By dedicating a tree to dad he will be around forever.
